EditBox setFontColor on GNU/Linux

Hello everyone.

I’m testing some UI elements and I faced a problem.
The following code on GNU/Linux does not work, but it does on Android:
editbox->setFontColor(Color4B::RED);

On GNU/Linux the font is white.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Any idea? I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not.

@Provatta
It’s not supported yet…
Since we doesn’t put much effort on Linux, so contributions are welcome.

Ok, thanks for answering @owen
I would like to modify (at this moment) two things:

  1. The font colour
  2. Be able to switch between lower case and upper case.
  3. On GNU/Linux systems, write directly into the edit box instead of opening a new window outside the application.

Where do I have to look at? Or with who should I contact?

Thank you very much.

@Provatta
The EditBox implementation is based on GTK and you should look at https://github.com/cocos2d/cocos2d-x/blob/v3/cocos/ui/UIEditBox/UIEditBoxImpl-linux.h

and implement the following interfaces:

   virtual void createNativeControl(const Rect& frame) override {};
    virtual void setNativeFont(const char* pFontName, int fontSize) override {};
    virtual void setNativeFontColor(const Color4B& color) override {};
    virtual void setNativePlaceholderFont(const char* pFontName, int fontSize) override {};
    virtual void setNativePlaceholderFontColor(const Color4B& color) override {};
    virtual void setNativeInputMode(EditBox::InputMode inputMode) override {};
    virtual void setNativeInputFlag(EditBox::InputFlag inputFlag) override {};
    virtual void setNativeReturnType(EditBox::KeyboardReturnType returnType)override {};
    virtual void setNativeText(const char* pText) override {};
    virtual void setNativePlaceHolder(const char* pText) override {};
    virtual void setNativeVisible(bool visible) override {};
    virtual void updateNativeFrame(const Rect& rect) override {};
    virtual const char* getNativeDefaultFontName() override {};
    virtual void nativeCloseKeyboard() override {};
    virtual void setNativeMaxLength(int maxLength) {};
