How to subclass the Action class

I would like to subclass the Action* class so I have access to the step function however I am not sure how to do that as the copy and assign members of Action class are disallowed.

This is what I have so far

class CustAction : public Action
{
public:
    virtual void step(float dt)
    {
             //I need access to this
    }
    
    //The following is not possible as the Action class has the copy constructor and assignment operator marked as deleted. 
     CustAction(Action* action_) : Action(action_)
    {
         
    }
};

What i would like is a simple action class derived type that could call my step method. Any suggestions ?

If you are subclassing any Action class, I guess you need to override couple of functions.
These shoule be mentioned in the source code commented with
// override
just above those mentioned functions.
then only it would work I guess.

I did subclassed MoveBy in one of my project.
