I was looking up the Cocos2d-x API reference and when I searched for Label the only results I got were LabelAtlas and LabelEffect with no sign of the Label class itself. Has it been deprecated or is it just a documentation error?
It’s probably just a documentation error. I think it’s missing because the headerdoc description for that file is missing the @class attribute at CCLabel.h line #97, probably causing that doc to not generate. Just a theory, I don’t have any evidence to back it up.

Turns out that the @class identifier doesn’t make a difference when using Doxygen to generate docs. The docs I generated offline have docs for Label and a bunch of other classes that don’t have @class, like Action for example.
So I guess it’s a bug in how the docs were generated or hosted. Created an issue on Github here.
