jpg image format not working in cocos2d- marmalade port !!!

Hi, i want to use downloaded facebook profile pic in the game, but as the image in in jpg format, It didn’t work.
Png images are working, but it is not my requirement.

Do i have to use libjpeg library in the project ?

Please guide me on this issue.

I use 24-bit jpeg-file and I have everything working perfectly!
Maybe need convert your file to 24-bit color.
