ListView programmatically select item

Hi.
With release of cocos2dx 3.9 we have feature to select needed item at ListView, is someone now how to do that?
i just need to call some method listView->setSelectedItemIndex(10) and then at my scene handle ListView::EventType::ON_SELECTED_ITEM_END event, does it possible?

i check the source for this feature and not found, so i created pull-request, looking forward when it will be applied
