Rebuilding Cocos2dx externals

Hello everyone.

I’m relatively new to Cocos2dx. I want to bult my Cocos based app for Android with hardware floating point (armeabi-v7a-hard ABI from NDK). In order to do that I must rebuild Cocos external libraries (cocos2dx/external) with that ABI. Is that true? If so, what is the best way to do it.

Thanks in advance.
Mike.

How did you get cocos2d-x?

  1. GitHub

  2. Prebuilt-libraries with the Cocos app

  3. Downloaded from here: http://cocos2d-x.org/download

Downloaded from site (with prebuilt externals).

So you used the Cocos download?

Yes, downloaded from http://cocos2d-x.org.

you should be able to run cocos gen-libs to re-built the pre-compiled libraries.

As I understand, this command rebuilds cocos itself, not external libs. I can’t just rebuild external libs, because there are no souces for many of them (e.g. cocos2dx/external/freeetype2 has only “include” and “prebuild” dirs).
I joined project where Cocos2d-x 3.6 is used. Upgrading Cocos is not an option for now. So to rebuild external libs I need to download Cocos 3.6 with sources for external libs. Is there any possibility to do this?

oh, look at this: https://github.com/cocos2d/cocos2d-x-3rd-party-libs-src

Thank you. Looks like these are required sources.
