It seems SDKBOX now can’t be used in production, there is broken everything what can be broken.
We using SDKBOX 1.4.1 version, where IAP, Google Analytics FLurry and Facebook works, but when we making upgrade to latest SDKBOX version everything starting to crash application. We have no time to investigate if some plugins conflicting or some kind bad functionality/check implemented, because with next update it will be again changed…
Guys you need somehow make it stable - now it can’t be used…
To make it more sad, there is our crash list in live application - where IAP crash is #1
Really sorry for this to happen, we’ll look into it and fix it asap. And make a new release in the next couple days. Can you share the stack trace with us?
yeah i am sorry about this too. Its what makes me can’t rely on cocos for now.
I have been talking about this so many times. Less features more stability. Please.
Organize your selves better, you have two teams developing two separate editors but there is no end to the bugs.
Moving forward, couple developers are kind enough to share their crash analytics account with us, we’ll monitor them closely and fix crashes when they popup. So hopefully we can make it as stable as we can.
For the editors, I hear you, I think right now the editor team is focus on cocos creator right now, and it’s actually pretty good.
I will check today with staging version of SDKBOX if it works, I also invited you to Crashlytics reports -> so you can see current issues for older version of it.
You need this jar to have google play support. we’re testing a new build and I added checks for this error. you can get this version with sdkbox update --staging. I’ll send you PM you, to get more info about the crash.
yep. you are right. And in a way we are doing exactly this. We are not adding too many new features as in the past.
We are investing a lot of energy on the documentation ( http://www.cocos2d-x.org/docs/ )… but yes.
