Our procedure of development required several facebook applications - DEV, QA, PRE_PROD, PROD. Currently we build 4 applications for every environments it’s very uncomfortable. Otherwise we could use app_id from server’s config.
Hello @pixmaster
SDKBOX don’t support multiple app ID’s for Facebook natively with any plugin.
You may try with some workaround for it, try with multiple info.plists may be.
Best,
Pabitra
Yes, I know SDKBOX don’t support multiple app ID’s for Facebook. Because SDKBOX implementation doesn’t provide existing in FBSDK method which called FBSDKSettings::setAppId. And FB appId in info.plist just default. I tested this method bypassing SDKBOX, I used several ids and it works.
So, why this method is absent?
Let us ask @nite to help us here.
Let us ask, how?
When we developed facebook plugin, there is little mentioning for this method in facebook documentation, I think it’s good that we can set it programmatically, we’ll add that API in our future release. At the mean time I think in Xcode you can create multiple targets each includes different info.plist file. That should achieve what you want to do.
Thank you for your reply.
But multi plist does not resolve our troubles, because FB_app_Id our application receive from server on application start from our configuration. And we use android platform also.
we’ll add that API in our future release
It’s good news ![]()
