[SOLVED] Windows Phone 8.1 Error: Possible Missing File

Hi, first I would like to introduce myself as a newbie developer. This is my first time in game development, with below average C++ skills, and first time in cocos.

I am using cocos2dx v3.4, in VS 2013. I am developing a game for windows phone 8.1

Next, let’s talk about the error that I have been encountering.

In the game that I am currently developing, to restart the game from a “Game Over” I replace the scene via replaceScene() method.

	void yesOption(Ref *pSender)
{
	Director::getInstance()->resume();
	Director::getInstance()->replaceScene(Game::createScene());
}

Everything works fine in the first instance of the game, however once I reached that “Game Over” scene with the option of playing again, once I press the “yes” button the game would stop functioning. The sprites are loaded to their default positions, but they are not moving as opposed to the first time you play the game.

and this is what I get in the output:

cocos2d: fullPathForFilename: No file found at fonts/helvetica.ttf. Possible missing file.

repeating for a lot of times.

I don’t have that font in the res folder nor did I put any line of code to tell the game to use that font. I am not sure if this is just a rookie mistake that I did or is it really something in the program.

However, what I can tell is that the game worked fine when I tried it on Android. Even after several “Game Over” scenes.

Can someone help me? I would really appreciate your help!

[EDITED]
Nevermind, I kinda solved the problem. Rather than using Director::getInstance()->pause, I replaced it with this->pause(). I’m still learning the difference between the two.
