After upgrading to v1.0 my project will not start up

The project worked fine in v 0.7 but now it will not start.

My colleague is working on the same project but on his machine it starts up just fine. He is using windpws 8 and I am using windows 10. It just says “Loading” and shows some errors.

I reverted back to v 0.7 and now the project opens again.

  • please let me know what information you need.

My windows 10 is fully updated and I installed the latest nvidia drivers just in case.

A suggestion, just in case it may help: as your colleague can open the project, did you try to:

  • ask your colleague to make a little change, then save the project
  • make a zip of the full directory containing the project on your colleague computer
  • unzip that directory somewhere on your computer using Windows 10
  • try to open the project on that directory

It should just takes you a couple of minutes, and who knows, it may work :wink:

Hi cocosdan,

We are using git for version control and I tried checking out a complete new project, so the two project should be 100% identical. But no luck unfortunately. Also, when I can revert back to 0.7 and I am able to open the project again it seems to me like the problem is related to 1.0.

We have another report with similar problem. Could you post the detail of your platform specification including graphic card setting and cpu?

i had that happen when i install over 0.71 i uninstall 0.71 reinstall 1.0 work ok

[Solution] Thank you dwaynesch it worked uninstalling 0.7 before installing 1.0.
