Does anybody face drop FPS on macOS since BigSur, Monterey on google Chrome?

Seems something changed in Chrome , since Mac OS Big Sur, Monterey, if compare with mac os Catalina.

Well, have tested, but doesn’t help, FPS dropped if compare to macOS Catalina in Chrome.

What is your chrome version? can you provide an example of your test?

can’t provide the example , cause it’s whole project under NDA, and sorry for low res images, but for now i could provide only this.

What about fps in macOS Catalina and Big Sur?

All of these images above taken on macOS Monterey (12.2.1), there is macOS Catalina

I noticed that your screenshots have different drawcalls for the two cases, is this a screenshot to the same case? Maybe you can consider optimizing your to drawcall on the new macOS.

Well, we have some update, on macOS BigSur and use cc 2.4.8, FPS became as macOS Catalina, there is no drop.
we can confirm that, cc 2.4.8 helps on macOS BigSur.

I have another question, does it matter arch of CPU for build ? cause Monterey we run on Apple M1 chip and Catalina, BigSur on Intel chips.

We are already compatible with the Apple M1 build, there is no difference in Apple M1 and Intel chips, you can have a test of build in BigSur on Intel chips and run in Monterey.

Alright, then drop FPS on macOS Monterey still happens.

I tested this project on macOS Monterey with Apple M1 and there is no drop FPS on google Chrome. Maybe there are points in your project that need to be optimized.

Same problem, all CC 2 project lagging after update Mac Os Monterey 12.2.1

Update: connect bluetooth headphones fixed this problem, I think this is macOs problem.
