I’ve forked and have cloned cocos2d-js repo recursively.
git clone --recursive https://github.com/dmitryshm/cocos2d-js.git cocos2d-js-dmitryshm
Then I ran
frameworks/js-bindings/cocos2d-x/download-deps.py
and
tools/cocos2d-console/download-bin.py
as documentation from github said.
But running “tools/cocos2d-console/download-bin.py” gave me an error with such a stack
File "tools/cocos2d-console/download-bin.py", line 301, in <module>
main()
File "tools/cocos2d-console/download-bin.py", line 296, in main
installer.run("", opts.remove_downloaded, opts.force_update, opts.download_only)
File "tools/cocos2d-console/download-bin.py", line 249, in run
distutils.dir_util.copy_tree(self._extracted_folder_name, dst_folder_path)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/distutils/dir_util.py", line 128, in copy_tree
"cannot copy tree '%s': not a directory" % src
DistutilsFileError: cannot copy tree 'console-binary-3-console-4': not a directory
So now I can’t work with your repo as you say in manuals. Do I need Python3 for whis?
