I integrated facebook plugin to my cocos2d project, and I tried it with a newly created account. However, when I clicked “login”, the app automatically opened up a new window to my browser and ask me to enter the security phone number. I closed the browser and went back to the app, but the keyboard part was completely black and the “login” button was hidden, so I had to close the app and reopen it – this time it worked fine without the browser jumping out. Is there a way around this?
Can you provide your cocos2d-x version and Facebook plugin version?
cocos 2dx version is 2.2.6.
SDKbox I’m using sdkbox-facebook_v1.2.3.3_for_v2.tar.gz, and manually integrated it into Android.
I think if user don’t have Facebook app, it will popup a browser by default, However I’ll look into the login button issue. I believe we already fixed it in 1.2.5, I’ll update our sample.
Also when I tried to integrate the plugin, I had to add
android.library.reference.2=./libs/facebook_lib
to project.properties. This is not written in the http://sdkbox-doc.github.io/en/plugins/facebook/v2-cpp/#usage
here. Is this what I’m supposed to do?
Yes, you’re suppose to add that reference, that must be an error with our installer
I was not using the installer though … I tried to use import directly in various folders but there are multiple different errors popping out. It’s probably just a missing line in the installation guide I think.
I updated the documentation, thanks a lot.
Have you tried it? I updated to the newest version and this still happens. It also happens when I entered the wrong password in the case you don’t have a new account to repeat it.
