I want to moves up keyboard when text view is at the bottom

Hello All,

I have created UITextview in cocos2dx - 3.10.

When i click on text view keyboard appears. At that time i want to move up a view so that i can see the UITextview. Since UITextview is placed at the bottom.

This feature is implemented in Editbox. But this feature is not working in TextView.

In textview we can align the text. In Editbox we don’t have that feature.

Is it possible to move keyboard up with UITextView?

Thanks in advance,
Gurudath

Anyone?

I hope this post of mine would help.

Thanks

@Lazy_Gamer,

Thanks for the response. I have already check with above code.

  1. MoveTo position we need to calculate manually. We wont be knowing height of the keyboard in various devices. What is best way to calculate height of the keyboard.
  2. DETACH_WITH_IME event callback will not fire all the time. Some time when i press Enter from keyboard event callback was not fired.
Are you able to fire DETACH_WITH_IME callback all the time when keyboard pops down?

Fixed position was just a typo, i had something else instead of a moveToAction.

[/quote]Not the case with me, worked almost 99% times, 1% never been found in testing. You can debug the code to find out why it is being missed.

Thank you @Lazy_Gamer,

I will look into that once more.

At last just i want to know can we add these feature internally like how editbox works.

We can always extend textbox and hack up a custom implementation with these features as unified features. nobody will recommend changing engine source code.

Thanks
