Hello,
I try to compile my cocos2d-x project for windows phone and i have this error message :
cocos run -s f:\test -p wp8_1
Building mode: debug
Building…
Required VS version : [2013, 2015]
Can’t find correct Visual Studio’s path in the registry.
I try with visual studio 2013 express and visual studio 2012 express with windows 7 and windows 8.
Do you know how i can solve that ?

i got the same problem too. Did you find the solution?
you should try installing the community version which contain the tools and the proper sdks for building and compiling wp8.1 apps.
because for me …everything works fine using both visual studio 2013 or 2015 community editions.
You dont need to use cocos run -s f:\test -p wp8_1, you can install visual studio 2013 update 5 on windows 8, then you can open the “proj.win8.1-universal” project or “proj.wp8-xaml” for cocos2d-x 3.5 or previous.
