I have a MapLayer scene that holds all the control and movement commands and listeners and such for a tilemap game. From this game i have a scene lets call it scene A that inherits MapLayer with a virtual init contianing its unique settings. Then i have another scene, lets call it…Scene B, that also inherits MapLayer the same way.
when i load the game using either of these scenes everything works as desired., however if a do a replacescene with A->B or B->A it has alot of trouble, it seems almost as though cocos is trying to pass like variables from scene A -> scene B rather than creating a new scene. Is this kind of setup just a bad idea and i should create each scene individually copying the big bulk of code on each? None of these variables are static.
