Newly installed Cocos2D-js (IDE etc) and the ‘hello world’ test runs fine on localhost (WAMP) using both Internet Explorer v11 and Chrome v43. Uploaded files to my remote server (shared host) and again ‘hello world’ runs fine with Internet Explorer, but not with Chrome. Chrome gives ‘error’ - “Resource interpreted as Document but transferred with MIME type application/x-httpd-php” (and the page ‘downloads’ as a document instead of running the scripts).
Following some suggestions from google search, I tried adding “AddCharset utf-8 .js” to the .htaccess file within source directory for the .js files, also tried adding type=“text/javascript” charset=“utf-8” to the script tags, but still no go.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks
