SDKBOX Chartboost - wrong chartboost.jar file in 2.2.4.14 [BUG]

Hi

I updated Chartboost plugin to version 2.2.4.14, and found that it is not working:

I downloaded Chartboost SDK from chartboost.com, replaced chartboost.jar file and now plugin works fine.

It seems that plugin uses wrong chartboost.jar file, I think you should fix that

Unfortunately, plugin works very unstable with the chartboost.jar file I downloaded from Chartboost web site, so I have to revert to v2.2.3.5 which works fine.

I assume that Chartboost Plugin 2.2.4.14 is broken, please check that

I think the latest chartboost requires you to add the following to your AndroidManifest.xml

It’s actually in the error log you sent, we’re looking into if we can add that automatically for existing projects.

i use sdkbox chartboost sample project try to reproduce.

  1. use chartboost cpp project, the project has installed v2.2.0.13 charboost plugin
  2. run cd cpp, entry cpp project
  3. run sdkbox update, update chartboost plugin to 2.2.4.14
  4. run cocos run -p android
  5. a second, just wait chartboost cache finish. press video button
  6. ad show

Chartboost plugin works if I place that code into AndroidManifest.xml, but I found several issues which don’t exist in v2.2.3.5. For example, if I press Home button while ads is showing, and then open the game again, the game may not respond on touch events or black screen is displayed instead of the game. If I close ads, minimize game, open app again - ads somehow are still diplaying (I closed them before minimizing) with various glitches.

Everything works fine when I switched back to v2.2.3.5
