SimpleAudioEngine effects volume on win32

Hi,

I couldn’t find any one else having this issue online so I thought I would post it here. With SimpleAudioEngine I’m able to get/set the effects volume with the functions SimpleAudioEngine::getEffectsVolume() and SimpleAudioEngine::setEffectsVolume(float volume). This is working on OSX and Linux. However, on win32 these functions have no effect, and when I look at the code I can see why:

float SimpleAudioEngine::getEffectsVolume()
{
    return 1.0;
}

void SimpleAudioEngine::setEffectsVolume(float volume)
{
}

They are essentially doing nothing. Is this not the correct way to set sound effects volume on Windows? Thanks for any help!

Can we expect working EffectsVolume in next version? It will be great if someone from cocos team reply in this thread.

EDIT: Was able to use AudioEngine::play2d on win32. You can set volume directly in AudioEngine::play2d fucntion. So, I think we should use AudioEngine on win32.
