Hi, I’m trying to integrate SdkboxPlay in a C++ 3.10 project. After I import the plugin via sdkbox import sdkboxplay everything seems to work, cocos compile -p android succeeds but after I install the apk to the devices and try to launch it fails, the app crashes.
If I open the proj.android in eclipse I get the following error in AndroidManifest.xml:
Error: No resource found that matches the given name (at 'value' with value '@integer/google_play_services_version').
I’ve tried importing the android-sdk/extras/google/google_play_services/libproject to eclipse, but the libproject folder doesn’t exist at that location, I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
I think this is a serious problem since maybe any other plugin that needs Goople Play Services integration may fail(including Admob?).
Ok, so I’ve managed to solve this. First, the error in eclipse doesn’t really matter unless you want to build using eclipse, if you compile via console, you can leave it like that. Anyway I’ve fixed it in eclipse by importing the gps project into the workspace. To do that you Import->Existing Android Code Into Workspace than you browse to <Your Project>\cocos2d\cocos\platform\android\java\libs\gps I’ve only checked the gps project and didn’t check Copy Project to Workspace(or whatever it is called). Now your error in AndroidManifest.xml should disappear.
Now this, obviously, didn’t solve my problem as the app still crashed when I was trying to sdkbox::PluginSdkboxPlay::signin()
This is what I did to solve the problem(I know, it has no logic at all, at least for me, but it worked in my case).
When installing the plugin, the sdkbox installer creates this line in AndroidManifest.xml:
