I want to make a debug build of Spidermonkey to run in Android (it currently is precompiled as release).
I already downloaded the source code and I’m not really sure what to do next. My best bet was js\src\build-android\build.sh but Make doesn’t find a Makefile, and I know nothing about Make.
Oh, and I’m on Windows. I’m not sure if I have to download something else to make this work.
I don’t know which autoconf I have in here but it was included with the download of the Cocos Spidermonkey version. It’s in folder “build/autoconf”. Or isn’t that it?
I managed to run autoconf-2.13 and I had to modify build.sh because it wasn’t recognizing the correct path_os and path_arch I was on, and I also corrected some paths inside it.
Now my problem comes when it reaches /builtin/embedjs.py, which internally calls which.py. The shell script eventually sends a full, absolute path to which.py and this Python script is not returning me the same full path but instead giving me the error:
which.WhichError: Could not find 'c:/Absolute/Path/myfile' on the path.
Of course, myfile.exe does exist in that path. Actually, the files are from the NDK, e.g. c:/Android/android-ndk-r10e/toolchains/x86-4.8/prebuilt/windows-x86_64/bin/i686-linux-android-g++
I tried changing the absolute path to use “c:/”, “C:/” and “/c/” but none worked.
