The developer menu in Cocos Creator has excessive margin

Does someone else have the Developer menu showing like the image below?

I tried deleting the Cocos Creator application and all the contents in the folder ~/.CocosCreator including custom packages but I’m still getting the margin showed above.

I also noticed that the menu is showing fine immediately after I open a project but it’s screwed up after the project is fully loaded.

The Cocos Creator is v1.1.1

That margin is probably set with a percentage of the total menu width.

And it’s created with OSX system api so we don’t have much control over it.

Once we move the atlas replace tool to it’s own interface and remove the very long menu item from the menu it would probably be normal again.

Thanks @nantas2, it make sense, it might be related to the Search field though. It seems that the margin appears after the Search field is dynamically inserted into the Developer menu.

By the way, is there some official thread to post those kind of issues? I’ve also hit one with the Scene and Node Tree panels. The Node Tree panel won’t load the scene data if the Scene panel is closed by default when a project is open.

Then if one tries to open the Scene panel the console shows an error saying PreferenceError: _Scene is not defined

Actually, you can’t close scene panel, we will forbid this in future version.

For your project, you can open the scene panel then refresh the editor with (cmd/ctrl + r)

I see, thanks @pandamicro.
